The Shift Sock
Cushioned where the floor hits. Built for safety shoes, not hiking boots.
Padding only where the floor hits
About 60% of standing load lands on your heel. That's where the padding went — heel, ball, toe. Nowhere else.
What the orange means
Every safety-orange zone is terry cushioning — knitted loops on the inside face, smooth outside. Everything black is standard flat knit. Padding only where the floor hits: under the heel, under the ball, over the toe. Anything more is a hiking sock.
Materials — and why zero cotton
Moisture-wicking synthetic blend with nylon reinforcement at heel and toe, elastane arch band. No cotton anywhere — cotton holds sweat, and sweat means friction, blisters, and boots that smell like regret.
Care
Machine wash cold, hang or tumble low. They're work socks, not silk — they can take it.
